Where to send a notice

Designated Copyright Agent, percs.lol
Email: legal@percs.lol
Please put "DMCA Notice" or "DMCA Counter-Notice" in the subject line.

Reporting infringement (takedown notice)

If you believe content on percs.lol infringes your copyright, send a written notice that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name works).
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed.
  3. The exact location of the infringing material, for example percs.lol/handle and a description of the element.
  4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

When we receive a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material and let the person who posted it know.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you're outside the U.S., any judicial district in which percs.lol may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.

We will forward your counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. If they don't tell us within 10 to 14 business days that they have filed a court action to stop the infringement, we may restore the material.

Repeat infringers

We disable the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright, in appropriate circumstances. Generally, an account that receives three valid notices that aren't successfully countered will be terminated, and serious cases may be terminated sooner.

False notices

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice may be liable for damages. Consider whether the use might be fair use before sending a notice, and talk to a lawyer if you're unsure.

Trademarks and impersonation

For trademark or impersonation complaints (for example, a handle or page pretending to be your brand), email legal@percs.lol with the page link, the trademark or identity involved, and proof that you own or represent it.
